Excellent article on utilizing the power of networking to unwrap the opportunities that just might lead to your next new career opportunity. I have found it is important to give back when using Twitter. By providing industry information that is valuable to those that are following you is invaluable!

Another great post John. I especially love the point you make about the blogs being as or more important than the resume. In the age we live in I am telling candidates that the hiring manager or recruiter will seek to learn as much about you as they can before they pick up the phone to have a chat with you. By putting yourself out there with info about how smart, knowledgeable, and tech savvy you are that hiring manager will be more compelled to meet you in person. The best part is that really only a few people in the candidate community are really getting this yet, so there is still room for it to be a significant differentiator. Again, thanks for the great post.
